This report covers the existing design of The Intersection Office Building, and details the proposal for an alternate structural system. The structural redesign proposal encompasses redesign of all structural members for gravity loads (beams, columns and floor system), as well as a lateral force resisting system redesign. The latter sections of this report provide a construction cost and schedule analysis and comparison between the existing structure and the new proposed structure, as well as investigating acoustical considerations for the floors.
